NYC New York Color IndividualEyes Custom Compact Review

I got this eyeshadow compact from Influenster in my Beauty Blogger VoxBox 2012.  I actually kind of love this product.  The eyeshadows are easy to use, and I think they blend very well to create a natural look.  I LOVE that it has primer and illuminator, I've never used either before and now I use those with other eyeshadows too.  The only thing I wish was that I had the blue eyes one, I would like to see if they really make my eyes stand out more(I like stuff like that a lot).  I used the medium brown on my lid, the shimmery brown on my crease, the purple on an outer < > thing, and the light color all around.  I used the illuminator over my crease, and in the corner of my eyelid, and then ended up putting it all over lightly.  I LOVE this look, it was easy and fast to do and it lasts well.

Well, that's all for this review. Leave me a comment letting me know what you think!

Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit Review

I got these lashes from Influenster in my Beauty Blogger VoxBox 2012.  The card I got with the box says the retail value is $5.99.  It also says "Bring the salon home with this eyelash starter kit, complete with eyelashes, adhesive, and applicator.  This latex-free glue has a 24-hour hold, for lashes you can bat all day and all night."

These pictures are without the fake eyelashes.

These have one eye with them and one without.  Look at how dark they look next to my regular eyelashes.  And they're so thick and long!

This picture has both eyes with the lashes on.  They kind of were peeling on the inside edge, I guess I didn't use enough glue in that spot.

I've never worn fake eyelashes before, so I can't compare them to other brands, but I can review them as a first-time user.  I could not get the hang of the applicator, so I just used my hands.  They made my eyes look so cool.  It's a very bold look, and I love it! My right eye (left in the picture) in the last picture looks so awesome! I love it!  Wearing these was really fun and I enjoyed them.  I think with more practice I would enjoy them more, and they are reusable so I will definitely be wearing them again.

What do you guys think? I've never done a review like this before, how do you like it?  Any tips? I have another review on eyeshadow in the making.  I kind of like doing stuff like this, so expect to see more in the future.

A Cute, Simple Nail Art Idea

I saw this nail art brush, and wanted to do something that was quick, but still cool. It was so simple, and it looked kind of cool.

I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, and added a stripe using two coats of LA Color Art Deco pen in blue glitter.

OPI DS Couture

I really, really wanted to do a Halloween mani.  I even had it all planned out and colors ready.  Sandy was not going to stop me, I was going to use some sunlight or a candle.  Then I went to my grandma's house and decided to paint my nails.  I wore this color and could not take it off.  It's just that pretty.  It's like a dark pink color that is just AMAZING and the pictures do not do it justice.

It looks a little coral-y, but it is VERY pink and not that orange in real life.  You can kind of see the shimmer in it in some of the pictures, and I LOVE this polish.  I even did it on my toes! They look so cool! This is two coats, although it's pretty opaque with just one.
