Apple Nails!

I did these nails awhile ago, but I forgot to post them! Silly Brianna.  But these are apple nails, and I absolutely adored them.  They were so easy, but so cute at the same time.  I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, and used Revlon Fire and a green that I can't remember.  Hope you enjoyed this delicious mani haha!

Christmas Nails!

Happy Christmas Eve everyone! I tried to make these nails santa-y for the last day of the challenge, but I decided to do a random Christmas mani with a couple of santa-related nails. I used China Glaze Running in Circles for the green, The red is Sally Hansen Unbreakable Heart, and the White is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and also a black striper brush.  I also have my nails inspired by Cold December Night by Michael Buble, because I love them so much! Here's the Original Post

I hope you all have a great holiday! Merry Christmas!

12 Days of Christmas: Day 10- Inspired by a Christmas Song

I actually did a gradient, but I forgot to take a picture, and it got all messed up in the morning.  It didn't look good enough for me to re-do it, so I just focused on the next item.  For a Christmas song, I wanted to do Cold December Night by Michael Buble.  I LOVE this song, it's one of my favorites for this time of year.  Here's a link to the song on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxjsJ-TU8LA.   I originally wanted to do ten different things on ten different nails, but I settled on just four.  The green is China Glaze Running in Circles, and I am in love with it, and I hate the color green, so that really shows how special this polish is.  The red is Sally Hansen Unbreakable Heart, and the White is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. I love how my left hand came out! The lines I used were "Let's cozy on up by the fireplace, and dim those Christmas lights" which is the Christmas lights. "I'll wear you like a Christmas sweater" is the sweater design.  "The mistletoe says stand in line" which is maybe my favorite line of the song, I love it! And the last design is "A tree that smells of pine".

I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did! This was so much fun! I'll definitely do more mani's like this in the future.

12 Days of Christmas: Day 7- Candy Cane

Who doesn't love candy canes? They are just a great holiday snack.  I love peppermint and sugar, so naturally I'm a huge fan of candy canes.  I painted my nails white, then added some striping tape and painted them red.  I really liked this, it was on my nails for a while it felt like, because I couldn't change my nails during finals, I was too busy studying.

12 Days of Christmas: Day Five- Snow

I skipped the holiday movie, one because it would take longer, and two because I couldn't really think of a good idea.  For my "snow" nails, I just used a pretty blue polish and added silver glitter to get the snow effect.  It's kind of cheating, but I was really busy and this was cute to have on my nails for awhile.

12 Days of Christmas: Day Three- Tape Mani

I'm finally done with finals! I have been doing some of the challenges, but I have been crazy busy with studying and writing papers and finishing schoolwork.  I only did some of the challenges, but now I should be back on track to finish.  I'm actually really excited to do the inspired by a christmas song, I have such a fun idea that I want to happen.  For the tape mani, I painted my nails white, then added red and green striping tape.  They REALLY annoyed me, so I peeled off the tape and it left a residue that looked really cool.

12 Days of Christmas: Day Two Penguin

Who doesn't love penguins? If you don't you should watch happy feet because that movie is adorable.  Today's theme was penguin nails, so I painted my nails black and then added a little white almost semi-circle, then added eyes and a beak and feet.   These were really easy, and I love how cute they look!

12 Days of Christmas: Day One Red and Green Only

Technically yesterday was the start of this challenge, and I did paint my nails, but I didn't have a chance to post this as I was super busy yesterday. I'm also having some difficulty uploading my pictures into blogger, and I'm trying to settle that issue. I'm really excited for this challenge, I have some super fun ideas! For this, I just painted my nails red and added one coat of a snowman glitter polish, and then another coat because I wanted it to be more sparkly.  I LOVE this look, it definitely got me into the Christmas spirit. The first pictures have one coat, the ones after the snowman have two.  Which do you like better?

NYC New York Color IndividualEyes Custom Compact Review

I got this eyeshadow compact from Influenster in my Beauty Blogger VoxBox 2012.  I actually kind of love this product.  The eyeshadows are easy to use, and I think they blend very well to create a natural look.  I LOVE that it has primer and illuminator, I've never used either before and now I use those with other eyeshadows too.  The only thing I wish was that I had the blue eyes one, I would like to see if they really make my eyes stand out more(I like stuff like that a lot).  I used the medium brown on my lid, the shimmery brown on my crease, the purple on an outer < > thing, and the light color all around.  I used the illuminator over my crease, and in the corner of my eyelid, and then ended up putting it all over lightly.  I LOVE this look, it was easy and fast to do and it lasts well.

Well, that's all for this review. Leave me a comment letting me know what you think!

Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit Review

I got these lashes from Influenster in my Beauty Blogger VoxBox 2012.  The card I got with the box says the retail value is $5.99.  It also says "Bring the salon home with this eyelash starter kit, complete with eyelashes, adhesive, and applicator.  This latex-free glue has a 24-hour hold, for lashes you can bat all day and all night."

These pictures are without the fake eyelashes.

These have one eye with them and one without.  Look at how dark they look next to my regular eyelashes.  And they're so thick and long!

This picture has both eyes with the lashes on.  They kind of were peeling on the inside edge, I guess I didn't use enough glue in that spot.

I've never worn fake eyelashes before, so I can't compare them to other brands, but I can review them as a first-time user.  I could not get the hang of the applicator, so I just used my hands.  They made my eyes look so cool.  It's a very bold look, and I love it! My right eye (left in the picture) in the last picture looks so awesome! I love it!  Wearing these was really fun and I enjoyed them.  I think with more practice I would enjoy them more, and they are reusable so I will definitely be wearing them again.

What do you guys think? I've never done a review like this before, how do you like it?  Any tips? I have another review on eyeshadow in the making.  I kind of like doing stuff like this, so expect to see more in the future.

A Cute, Simple Nail Art Idea

I saw this nail art brush, and wanted to do something that was quick, but still cool. It was so simple, and it looked kind of cool.

I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, and added a stripe using two coats of LA Color Art Deco pen in blue glitter.

OPI DS Couture

I really, really wanted to do a Halloween mani.  I even had it all planned out and colors ready.  Sandy was not going to stop me, I was going to use some sunlight or a candle.  Then I went to my grandma's house and decided to paint my nails.  I wore this color and could not take it off.  It's just that pretty.  It's like a dark pink color that is just AMAZING and the pictures do not do it justice.

It looks a little coral-y, but it is VERY pink and not that orange in real life.  You can kind of see the shimmer in it in some of the pictures, and I LOVE this polish.  I even did it on my toes! They look so cool! This is two coats, although it's pretty opaque with just one.

Music Challenge Day 11

THE LAST DAY OF THE MUSIC CHALLENGE!! :( I'm always sad when a challenge ends, and this was no exception! I had so much fun, and I loved how the songs were the inspiration. Today's song was Born to be Wild, and I just used Sally Hansen Loves Me Not and added Spoiled Papa-Paparazzi and Sinful Colors Frenzy.  This was fun, and purple and sparkly and I really enjoyed this mani, along with the rest of the challenge.
