Spoiled Papa-Paparazzi

This color is like a purple disco ball.  I love it.  It is super sparkly, and is one of those colors you can't stop looking at.

This was my first spoiled nail polish, and I really like it.  The brush was easy, and the formula was good.  I really liked this polish, it was so sparkly and fun.  I used Sally Hansen Complete Care 4-in-1 treatment for base and top coat, and three coats of Spoiled Papa-Paparazzi.

Nicole by OPI It's Up to You

So I wanted a color that matched my dress for honors night, but I also wanted something fun.  I decided It's Up to You matched my dress better than "Clambake" did.  I painted my nails, then decided I wanted something to jazz it up a little bit.  I decided to stamp using the cheetah print from BM-221 in silver would look cool.  While my dress didn't have silver, my sweater had a little bit and my shoes had silver straps.

That's the print from the dress I wore.  Both my nails and my dress had a fun pattern, so I think it looked cool!

I used essie grow faster base coat, two coats of Nicole by OPI It's Up to You, stamped using the Sally Hansen Color Quick Pen in Silver, and seche vite as a top coat.

Essie Polish

I got this polish awhile back, and thought to use it again for my honors night, as my dress had a dark blue in it.  It was $2 at Ocean State Job Lot, but it says it's clambake, which is a orangey color.  This color is very dark, I only had to use one coat.  I didn't want to make it even darker, so I only used one coat.

With the flash you can see more of the blue shimmer.  That's the prettiest part of this color.

I like this color but I don't love it, so I changed my nails for honors night.  I used essie grow faster base coat, two coats of essie "clambake", and seche vite for a top coat.

Orly Shimmering Mauve

Wow.  Normally I don't wear colors like this, but when I do, I love them.  Shimmering Mauve is like a rich, well mauve, but it is a spectacular color. This color really shines, and I think it looks very elegant on.

I used essie grow faster for a base coat, two coats of Orly Shimmering Mauve, and Seche Vite to top it off.

OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls

Leave it to me to love a grey-ish white.  After loving a bright teal color and a bright orange, the next color I love would be something basic like a white.  This color captivated me, and I wanted it from the moment I first saw it.  It lived up to its expectations I think.  I really like this color, and I think it's very sophisticated in a way, yet a little edgy at the same time.

I used I used OPI Natural Nails base coat, two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and OPI Top Coat.  A few hours later, I wanted to add a little something more to it, and added a coat of China Glaze Luxe and Lush.  I immediately regretted this, it looked cool, but I liked the color better by itself.  I also tried to stamp on it with OPI Into the Night, but that was a disaster to say the least.

Zoya Myrta

I love orange. I love shimmery colors.  I love orange shimmery colors.  Do I love Zoya Myrta? YES! Its a beautiful orange color, and I love everything about it, especially how it shimmers.  It is a little darker, but you can see the shimmer a little.  Overall, this color is awesome!  It might be one of my new favorites, and it's perfect for summer!

I used essie grow faster base coat, two coats of Zoya Myrta and seche vite for a top coat.

OPI Into The Night

When I first saw the spider-man collection, I wanted this color.  It's a pretty, deep, dark blue.  It's more of an indigo color, and I'm surprised that I didn't like it that much.  I just had on Teal the Cows Come Home which I absolutely loved, and maybe that had something to do with it.  This blue just wasn't that great in my opinion.

I tried to spice it up by adding Shine of the Times and matte magic, but I still didn't love it.

I used OPI Natural Nails base coat, two coats of OPI Into the Night and OPI Top Coat.  Then I added Essie Shine of the Times on two fingers, and China Glaze Matte Magic on one hand.

OPI Teal the Cows Come Home

I was looking at the spider-man collection when I saw this gorgeous aqua blue. It is SUCH a pretty color, and everything about this polish is amazing.  I was distracted by its beauty all day, I couldn't stop looking at this color.  I think it may be my new favorite polish! It is certainly up there now.

Of course I'm still obsessed with Matte Magic, so I tried it over Teal the Cows Come Home.  I loved it! It looked like Zoya Pheobe, which makes me excited, because I've always wanted that, and now I can create a similar look.  I used OPI Natural Nails base coat, two coats of Teal the Cows Come Home and OPI Top Coat.  Then I added China Glaze Matte Magic.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! Enjoy your day!

Sally Hansen Sunrise, Sunset

So I'm a huge fan of orange.  It doesn't exactly make sense, but I love the color.  It's on my walls, and I love it.  On my nails, I usually don't love it as much.  I have a weird thing for blues on my nails, and I have lots of blue clothing.  This was one of those, eh oranges.  I used two coats of Sunrise Sunset, part of the Diamond Strength collection, with Sally Hansen Complete Care 4-in-1 treatment for my base and top coat.

The more I had this one, the less I liked it.  I got China Glaze Matte Magic and wanted to try it.  Here's the result. While it's not very summer-y, I really like this color matte.  And I love Matte Magic!  It's so cool.

Zoya Trixie

I've always loved silver on your nails, but none of them come close to this.  It's like perfection in the form of a silver nail polish.  Zoya Trixie is the one of the prettiest, silvery-est color I've ever seen.  It's just SO PRETTY.  I love the way it shimmers, it looks so pretty in and out of the sun.  I think it would look good on everyone, it's such a complimentary color.

I used OPI Natural Nail base coat and OPI Top Coat, with two coats of Zoya Trixie.
